Detroit Lakes Man Critically Injured in Fish House Gas Explosion
A Minnesota man is in critical condition after a fish house gas explosion in Moorhead. Michael Herzog remains hospitalized with second- and third-degree burn injuries on 90% of his body. The explosion happened around 8:00 AM on Sunday, March 17th, 2019. Neighbors called 911 when they heard the explosion in a Moorhead parking lot. Firefighters found Herzog outside the fish house when they arrived to put out the fire. He was rushed to Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, ND before he was airlifted to Regions Hospital in St. Paul, MN.
