Cedar Rapids House Explosion – 1 Man Critically Injured

Gas is the suspected source of a house explosion that left 24-year-old Joshua Thomas of Marion, Iowa with life-threatening injuries. Thomas was working at the house, located in the 5400 block of Rogers Road, when the explosion occurred just after 2 p.m. yesterday. He sustained severe burns and other injuries and was airlifted to an area hospital for treatment.
