Ellinger, TX House Explosion Injures 2, Propane is Suspected Source

Two people were severely injured in an Ellinger, TX house explosion yesterday. Investigators believe propane may have been the source of the blast which occurred around 6:41 a.m. leveling the home located on Grover Street.

Neighbors who heard the blast rushed to help. The injured people were airlifted to Dell Seton in Austin.

An investigation is ongoing.
