One man is dead and a teenage girl is severely injured after a house explosion in McCall, Idaho. Fire officials are working to determine the cause of the blast that happened near Fairview Drive around 4:15 yesterday. A fire followed the explosion.
When first responders arrived at the scene they heard the screams of a young woman who was trapped beneath the firey rubble. Firefighters battled the flames and heat to make their way to the young woman and carry her to safety. She was then airlifted to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center for treatment of her explosion injuries where she is in critical condition in the intensive care unit (ICU).
Fire officials are working to determine the cause of the explosion which completely leveled the home and damaged two others.
