Newton County, MO Explosion Leaves 1 Dead, Gas Leak Suspected

A gas leak is the suspected source of a house explosion in Newton County, MO that has left one person dead. The blast occurred around 11:30 p.m. last night. It completely destroyed the house which was located near the intersection of Skylark Dr. and Quince Rd.

An investigation into the source of the explosion is ongoing but fire officials told local news outlets that a gas leak may have been involved.
