Appliance Explosion in Edison, NE Leaves 1 Woman Dead

A propane leak is the suspected source of an appliance explosion in Edison, NE on March 20 that killed an 83-year-old woman named Alberta Leising.

Fire officials believe she was doing laundry in a detached laundry room when the blast occurred at around 1 p.m. When firefighters arrived the structure was completely engulfed in flames. An investigation is underway.
