Boat Explosion at Charleston Harbor Marina injures 4
Four people on a boat at the Charleston Harbor Marina’s fueling station were injured when an explosion occurred around 9 p.m. last night. The blast occurred while the boat was being filled with gas.
A small fire in the engine room of the boat followed the explosion. Three of the people on board sustained serious injuries and were transported to an area hospital. A fourth person declined treatment at the scene but later sought treatment.
