An explosion at The Edson Shop in Salisbury, NC injured two people. One of them sustained severe burns to his abdomen and legs and was airlifted to a hospital, the other may have an inhalation injury.
The blast occurred yesterday afternoon as one man was torch-cutting a barrel at the shop located on South Main Street. Fire investigators are trying to determine what substance was in the barrel.
