Explosion at CNG Fueling Station in Riverside, CA Injures 2

An explosion at a CNG fueling station in Riverside, CA yesterday injured two people, one of them critically. Both of the people who were injured were transported by ambulance to an area hospital for treatment.

The compressed natural gas (CNG) fueling station located, located at 5961 Acorn St., is one of two in the city of Riverside. It opened in 2015.

Officials are investigating what may have caused the blast, which occurred around 5:30 p.m.
