Explosion at JCS Enterprise Trailer Repair in DeKalb, GA Injures 1

An explosion at JCS Enterprise Trailer Repair in DeKalb, GA Injured a worker who sustained burns over 50 percent of his body. He was transported to the burn unit at Grady Memorial Hospital. Two other people who tried to help him were also taken to the hospital.

Located in the 4300 block of Old McDonough Road, JCS is tractor-trailer repair company. The explosion occurred around 9:20 as the employee used cutting and welding tools to repair the floor of a semitrailer. Witnesses told media outlets that they heard a loud boom before a fire broke out.

Investigators are still working to determine what caused the explosion.
