Fatal house explosion near Hampton MN

A massive house explosion south of Hampton, Minnesota on the 24000 block of Lewiston Boulevard, seriously burned one man and fatality injured his wife.  The man was taken to Region’s Burn Center in St. Paul for treatment.  Investigators are still working to determine what caused the explosion, which left the house completely destroyed. The names of the victims will be released after family members are notified.

Update: Police have identified the survivor as Brian Suilmann and his wife, who was killed in the blast, as Terry Snoeyenbos.
