Gas Plant Explosion at Hereford Ranch Plant Injures 3 in Weld County, CO

Three contract workers were injured in an explosion at Hereford Ranch Processing Plant in Grover, CO yesterday. Two were airlifted and one was transported by ambulance to Northern Colorado Medical Center for treatment of burn injuries. The workers suffered significant burns when a flash fire occurred while working on a Summit Midstream natural gas compressor.

Hereford Ranch Processing Plant is located on Weld County Road 71 in northern Colorado near the border of Wyoming. A spokesman told local media that incident is under investigation.
