Grady County Pipeline Explosion Injures 1 in Oklahoma

One person was injured in a pipeline explosion near Chickasha in Grady County, Oklahoma yesterday. The injured person was taken to an area hospital.

Chickasha is about 45 minutes southwest of Oklahoma City. Witnesses said the flames and smoke from the blast, which occurred around noon, could be seen for miles around. Investigators believe an excavator struck the line while a contract crew was working in the area.
