Hoisington House Explosion Injures 1 in Kansas
One person was injured in a house explosion in Hoisington, KS yesterday. A fire that followed the blast took about two hours to bring under control.
Firefighters were called to the scene near the intersection of Main and Cheyenne streets, north of K-4 at around 5:00 p.m. When they arrived black smoke was pouring our of a hole in the side of the house. Hoisington is located about two hours northwest of Wichita.
Investigators are trying to determine the cause of the blast.
