House Explosion in Eau Claire, WI Leaves 1 Dead, 1 injured
One person was killed and another badly injured in a house explosion that occurred near Eau Claire, WI just after 11:00 a.m. this morning. The injured person was transported to an area hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
Gas is the suspected source of the blast. Chippewa County emergency responders closed Highway F (Jeffers Road) and Townline Road while they work to investigate the casue of the explosion that leveled the home lcoated on County Line Road, blast that occurred around 11:00 a.m. today.
