House Explosion in Manawa, WI Leaves 1 Man Dead

Authorities have identified Mark Steven Zielke, 64 as the man who was killed in a house explosion in Manawa, WI on August 11. Emergency responders say they believe Zielke was asleep when the blast occurred around 8:45 a.m. leveling the home located near the intersection of County Highway N. and County Road T in Waupaca County about an hour west of Green Bay.

Officials are still working to determine the cause of the explosion that scattered debris as far as 500 feet in every direction. Some nearby homes were also damaged.
