Motor Home Fire Kills 1 Person and Injures Another in St. Paul, MN
A motor home fire in St. Paul, MN killed one person and injured another on Saturday. Firefighters found fire and smoke pouring out from the front of the vehicle when they arrived at the scene on Arundel St. and Cook Ave. around 10:30 PM. One person died inside the vehicle and another person escaped with minor injuries. A bystander told the St. Paul Pioneer Press that the male driver and other bystanders tried unsuccessfully to open the door of the vehicle to free a female trapped inside. The St. Paul Fire Department says the cause of the fire is “presumed to be a mechanical failure and accidental.”
