Murrieta, CA House Explosion Leaves 1 Dead, 15 Injured
One person was killed and 15 others were injured in a house explosion in Murrieta, CA today. Firefighters and a crew from Southern California Gas Company (SoCalGas) were called to the scene in the 23500 block of Wooden Horse Trail shortly before 11 a.m. after a contractor working on the home knicked a gas line.
The explosion occurred shortly after they arrived, killing one SoCalGas employee and injuring 15 people, including three firefighters. All of the injured were taken to area hospitals.
