North Memphis House Explosion Injures Family of 7

Three adults and four children were injured in a house explosion in North Memphis last night. All seven members of the family were hospitalized with second and third-degree burns. The children are receiving treatment at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital, the adults were transported to Regional One Medical Center.

The explosion at the house, located at Britton Street and Stovall Avenue, occurred around 10:30 p.m. Fire officials are conducting an investigation.
