Oak Grove House Explosion Injures 1 in MN

A house explosion in Oak Grove, MN on December 18 left one man with serious injuries. He was rushed to Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids. Emergency responders who were called to the scene around 5:30 said the home, located in the 4400 block of 214th Avenue Northwest, was badly damaged.

Officials have not yet determined the cause of the explosion. An investigation is underway.

The Anoka County Sheriff’s Office told local media that the man was the only one inside the house at the time of the explosion and that his wife returned home to find the house significantly damaged and was worried he was trapped inside.
