Phoenix Barbecue Explosion Injures Five

A barbecue explosion at an apartment complex in Phoenix, AZ injured five people on Friday, June 19th. Fire crews responded to reports of an explosion just before 6:00 PM. When they arrived at the scene near 79th Avenue and McDowell Road, they found a smoking barbecue fire at the complex. Three adults and two children were injured. They were all transported to the hospital. The two children suffered serious burn injuries.
