Propane Leak Suspected in Grady County, OK House Explosion

A propane leak is the suspected source of a house explosion that injured one person in Grady County, Oklahoma on February 23. The Grady County Fire Department shared the video below on its Facebook page.

A propane leak in the basement ignited by the water heater is thought to be the source of the explosion which occurred just after 5:00 p.m. completing destroying the house in the  2700 block of County Street 2766.

One man was inside the home at the time of the blast and was transported to an area hospital for treatment of injuries. Officials did not release his name or the status of his health.
