One person is dead and another injured after a dust explosion at Riches Seeds in Silverton, OR on March 23. A three-alarm fire followed the 9 a.m. blast. When emergency responders arrived at the seed-cleaning facility, located in the 3000 block of Riches Road Northeast, the building was enveloped in flames and dark smoke.

Fire officials have not yet determined the ignition source of the explsoion. An investigation is underway.
