Saylorville Lake Boat Explosion Injures 3 in Iowa

Three people were injured in a boat explosion on Saylorville Lake just north of Des Moines, Iowa on Memorial Day. Officials said eight people were aboard the boat when accumulated gas fumes ignited and the boat exploded in the late afternoon. Two people were treated for minor burns at the scene, the third victim sustained serious burns and was transported to an area hospital.
