Two Dead After North Georgia House Explosion

After an explosion at their Blairsville, GA home, Ralph Norris Wood and Peggy Wood were both found dead inside. Authorities are still working to determine the cause of the blast which occurred around 8 am on May 2.

Ralph Wood, 78 and Peggy Wood, 77, were the only people inside the Pauline Lane home at the time of the explosion. The state fire marshall’s office said the explosion completely destroyed the home damaged others nearby.

An investigation is ongoing.
