Wolfe County, KY House Explosion Leaves 2 Dead, 4 Injured

A gas leak is the suspected source of a house explosion in Wolfe County, KY that left two people dead and four others injured. The house, located on Harvest Church Loop Road, was engulfed in flames after the blast which occurred around 3:30 p.m. on November 23.

All six people were inside the home at the time of the explosion. The four who escaped sustained burn injuries. Fire officials did not disclose the extent of the injuries or release the name of the hospital where they are receiving treatment.

An investigation is underway.
