Explosion in Middletown, CT Injures 4

An explosion and fire in Middletown, CT this morning injured four people who have been taken to the hospital. Firefighters were called to the scene on Saybrook Road around 6:20 a.m. There they found four people with injuries outside and transported them to Middlesex Hospital. There is no information yet on their status.

The fire marshal’s office is opening an investigation.
