Man Injured in New Hanover Twp., PA Gas Explosion

A man was injured when a gas explosion occurred at a house in New Hanover Twp., PA on May 2. He was airlifted to an area hospital for treatment of his injuries.

The blast, which occurred fire around 4:30 p.m. blew out windows of the home located in the  2900 block of New Hanover Square Road. The fire that followed damaged the basement and first floor of the home.

Fire officials said other people were in the house at the time of the explosion, but they were not injured.
