Three Injured in Explosion at Troxel Co. in Moscow, TN

An explosion at Troxel Company in Moscow, TN yesterday injured three employees. All of them suffered severe burns.  Two were airlifted to a Memphis area hospital for treatment, the third was transported by ambulance.

Troxel makes welded steel tubing and fabricated components. The explosion, which occurred around 2:20 p.m.,  originated in the company’s ventilation system, according to Fayette County Emergency Management Agency Director Hunter Winfrey. The cause of the blast is under investigation.
