Five Injured in Greenwood South Carolina Apartment Explosion

An apartment explosion resulted in five injured in Greenwood South Carolina on Sunday, November 4, 2018. Three adults and two children were injured in the blast, according to the Greenwood Fire Department.

A helicopter transported one adult male to a burn center in Augusta, Georgia. The condition of the injured people is not yet known.

The explosion and resulting fire destroyed two apartment units and damaged a third. Firefighters and police are investigating the incident.
